Can nature be experienced real-time in digital form? ☁️ Vaisala's measurement data is powering the new art exhibition in Amos Rex, Helsinki. The exhibition uses the Vaisala Beam Weather Station BWS500 and the local environmental data it collects to bridge the gap between human senses and changes in the environment. Go behind the scenes to explore how the weather station provides real-time data for Josefina Nelimarkka’s new exhibition, The Cloud of Un/knowing.📽️ Go behind the scenes here 👉 https://bit.ly/3KhlDZl #Vaisala #TheCloudOfUnknowing #TakingEveryMeasure

Not only are we committed to taking every measure for the planet, but also taking every measure to meet our customers' needs. ⭐ 10 years ago we delivered 17 weather stations to Panama Canal Authority (ACP). One of the locations was very remote and inaccessible by any motorized vehicle. It turned out, that the best solution was to deliver the weather station to the designated location on horseback through the jungle. The horse was happy to take the weather station to its hilltop for which it was rewarded with a handful of carrots. Today, when the Panama Canal is at its all-time low due to the long dry season, the weather station still delivers accurate weather information that enables smooth and weather-aware operation of the canal. #TakingEveryMeasure #Vaisala #PanamaCanal #Throwback
